I only drank half, and soon afterward I got an instant burst of energy. No jitters (even on an empty stomach), and it had me moving all morning! I love that it’s all natural. Yerba Mate is a very popular beverage in South America and is their favorite source of caffeine. It is usually prepared and consumed from a gourd made beverage cup. As a big consumer of all things caffeine, I wanted to explore some of the alternatives. While I am not giving up my coffee just yet, there are noticeable differences and benefits from the alternative types of caffeine. There is definitely less jitters and less post-use crash. “The energy shot tastes good but has a tingy taste at first. The bottle sizes is great but pricey for only 3 bottles. I took only a half of the energy shot for energy. I can say that this energy shot does give you the right amount of energy. Beaware if you have high blood pressure & take blood pressure pills. This energy shot can raise your blood pressure because of the caffine. That’s why I only took a half shot. Overall, this is a great energy shot.”

“These energy shots work pretty well. Each have 280mg of caffeine as well as lots of B vitamins and niacin too. They are fairly easy to get down in just two gulps, however they don’t taste good. They taste kind of like cough syrup. It’s not a huge issue for me since it’s such a small drink, but I don’t think I could stomach it if it was much more than two gulps.”
